Interested in joining Rotary? Congratulations! You are about to become a
part of one of the oldest community service organizations in the world.
All Rotary clubs are linked, however, each club will
have slightly different requirements for membership. The breakfast club
requirements are as follows:
- Visit our club three times (on us). There is
no charge to visit the club three times. Make sure that this club is
the right fit for you.
- Upon your third visit, complete the membership
application.
- The club officers board will consider application
(hint, no one is turned down)
- Receive your membership and be active. The
breakfast club meets weekly, all members are encouraged to attend weekly.
Rotary does have guidelines for attendance.
What does it cost to be in the breakfast club:
- Quarterly dues (pays for your membership in rotary
and your breakfast) - $150.00 per quarter
- Optional rotary international gift - most members
give $25.00 per quarter to the rotary foundation. Rotary international
encourages clubs to give 100.00/member/year.
- Turkey smoke - each member is required to either
purchase or sell 5 turkeys in support of the annual fundraiser (5 turkeys
and $25.00/turkey = $125.00)
- Golf - each member is required to either sell or
purchase one foursome and a hole sponsorship for the annual golf tournament
(foursome = $400.00, Sponsorship = $150.00)
Therefore, you total cash outlay for the year is:
Dues:
$600.00
Rotary Foundation: $100.00
Turkey Smoke:
$125.00
Golf Tournament: $550.00
